Worship, Fellowship, Service

As Catholics, we are called to proclaim the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do so by offering our time, treasure and talent in worship and in service to our parish and community.

Our Parish offers many different opportunities for returning our gifts of time and talent to God. As stewards of God-given skills and abilities, volunteering in a ministry or organization provides a way to thank God, share our faith with others, and enhance our community.

We give praise to the Lord by our worship. There are a variety of worship ministries from which to serve:

  • Lector
  • Sacristan
  • Altar Server
  • Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
  • Usher
  • Choir Member
  • Welcome Minister.

We are the Body of Christ, a community of faith. We worship together, we work together, and we play together. There are numerous groups & organizations, such as the Knights of Columbus, St. Al's GALS, Legion of Mary, and Young Adults which are always seeking new members.

Our parish community holds many events and activities throughout the year, such as the annual Wine Tasting and Auction, Parish Picnic, Fall Festival, and the Walk for Life. We are always looking for volunteers and of course, we welcome you to join in the fun.

"Now there are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working but it is the same God who inspires them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)
